Let me help you or your child(ren) get the most out of time and performance, fueled by good nutrition!
Fed is best! Especially when we're trying to go out there and enjoy exercise. Timing is everything! I help you create goals that fit who you are, what you're already doing and teach you how to incorporate your already blossoming own ideas into action. Not only is the approach Clinical from a Board Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics, but also Foodservice and Community approaches are used to help you understand what your current resources are and how to make them work for you to meet your sports nutrition needs.
Again fed is best! More than ever our youth are competing in higher level sports at younger ages. Their schedules are as busy as ours. My focus is on the basics of health such as sleep, proper nutrition and hydration, while working with parents to help maximize sports nutrition timing during the day to provide the best sources of fuel at the best times to our young athletes. With these strategies growth and repair as well as rest will dominate recovery and encourage improvements not only in physical health but mental health too. Don't worry, I won't add too much to your already expensive grocery list!
My approach is a whole person approach. Number 1, fed is best. Secondly, I make sure to understand who you are, because everyone comes from a different place for a different reason with different resources. I need to learn all of that to be successful in helping you. Additionally, I gather what your life is like medically, physically, emotionally, schedule wise, along with your goals but also taking the time to figure out what your stuck points are.
I do this with first a discovery call for about 30 minutes. Here I explain my approach further, learn about you, and then we decide together what the next course of action is. From there you have the option to choose from a few different programs to fit your goals, lifestyle, and budget.
